Writing Correction Code

Imagen
I'm working with 7th and 8th graders on a writing booklet aimed at creating and writing a variety of text types, with also a varied level of difficulty. We are doing one each week and we are checking them with the following writing correction code.

Reading Comprehension Skills

Imagen
This semester we're working more on reading skills so I designed the following worksheets to help students focus on important aspects when reading a text. The first one is the think-marks chart which gives  symbols students can do on their books or texts when reading. The second one is the reading comprehension wheel which contains the six main question words.

Newsletter 1

This semestre I would like to introduce you to newsletters. The idea of designing newsletters is for practicing reading comprehension through different texts from the ones on textbooks. The newsletters' contents will be about literature and culture, including books, films, music and places that students are more likely to enjoy.

In the City Project

The 6th grade students illustrated the dialogues they created about asking and giving locations and directions in the city, They constructed 5 city places and 4 people's jobs and located them in a map projected on the board.

Party Poster

These posters were designed by the 7th grade students, each group showed a different type of party. *The construction of an invitation for the party type was also part of this project.
